Nothing roams until you switch it on. No surprise charges from a phone that connected abroad without asking.
TAKE YOUR YOMOJO NUMBER OVERSEAS
Calls and texts on your own number in 130+ destinations, pay as you go. Roaming stays off until you switch it on — and once it's on, texts reach you even with no credit.
THREE ROAMING ZONES · ONE SIMPLE RATE CARD

BEFORE YOU FLY
TWO STEPS, THEY YOU'RE SET
Roaming is switched off on every Yomojo service by default. That's deliberate — it's what keeps your bill predictable. Do both of these before you leave Australia.
Add PAYG credit
Credit is only needed to make calls, send texts or use data — receiving texts is free, even at $0. $20 covers most short trips if you're using a travel eSIM for data.
Dashboard → Add credit
Switch roaming on
One toggle in your dashboard. It takes effect straight away, and you can switch it off again the moment you're home.
Dashboard → Manage → Manage SIM → International Roaming
Land and go
Your phone connects to a partner network automatically. Calls and texts on your own number just work, and inbound texts arrive whether or not you've added credit. Keep data roaming off on your phone unless you mean to use it.
Already overseas and your phone isn't working? Both steps can be done from your dashboard over wifi. Airport and hotel wifi is enough — you don't need mobile data to fix it.
What it costs
Every destination sits in one of three zones. You pay only for what you use, from your PAYG balance — there's no daily charge and nothing to cancel when you get home.
- No flagfall on any call, in any zone
- Receiving texts is free — bank codes and messages arrive even with $0 credit
- Same rate to call home, call locally or receive a call
- Voicemail deposits charged at the call rate — switch voicemail off if you'd rather not
- Charges can take a few days to appear — keep a little credit in reserve

WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY
ROAMING WITHOUT THE BILL SHOCK
We've kept roaming deliberately simple: you decide when it's on, you decide how much to spend, and your number comes with you.
Roaming draws on your PAYG balance only. When it's gone, roaming pauses — your Australian plan is untouched.
Bank codes and messages reach you on the number everyone already has — free, and even with no credit loaded.
Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE don't need roaming at all. On hotel wifi, calls home are just your normal plan.

ONE DAILY PASS FOR ZONE 2 · PAY AS YOU GO EVERYWHERE ELSE

BEFORE YOU FLY
ONE SWITCH, THEY YOU'RE SET
Roaming is switched off on every Yomojo service by default, so a stopover can't start a pass you didn't ask for. Switch it on before you leave Australia and the rest is automatic.
Switch roaming on
One toggle in your account. Nothing is charged until you actually use your phone overseas, so switching it on early costs nothing.

Land and use your phone
The first call, text or bit of data you use in a Zone 1 destination starts a $5 day pass: 5GB, unlimited calls and texts, for 24 hours. Receiving texts is free and doesn't start a pass.
Charged to your next monthly bill
keep an eye on it
We text you at 50%, 85% and 100% of the day's 5GB. Use it all before the 24 hours is up and another $5 pass starts automatically — so you're never cut off, and never surprised.
Forgot to switch it on before you left? Log in over airport or hotel wifi and flip the toggle — it takes effect straight away and your first pass starts with your first use.
What it costs
In Zone 1 — the destinations most of us actually travel to — it's one flat $5 a day, only on the days you use your phone. Everywhere else is pay as you go, billed per minute, per message and per megabyte.
- A pass only starts when you make a call, send a text or use data
- Receiving texts is always free and never starts a pass
- Unused data doesn't carry over — each pass is its own 24 hours
- Roaming pauses automatically if it reaches $500 in one bill cycle
- Charges can take a few days to reach your bill — usage alerts arrive first

- 5GB of data
- Unlimited standard calls — local, to Australia, and received
- Unlimited standard texts
- 24 hours from your first use
Use the full 5GB before the 24 hours ends and another $5 pass starts automatically. Video calls and MMS come out of your data.

WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY
ROAMING WITHOUT THE BILL SHOCK
One price, one switch, and a cap you can't blow through by accident. Your number comes with you, and so does your common sense.
Nothing roams until you switch it on — a two-hour stopover can't start a pass you didn't want.
$5 buys the whole day: 5GB, unlimited calls and texts. Quiet days at the beach cost nothing.
Usage alerts at 50, 85 and 100%, and roaming pauses itself at $500 in a bill cycle. You'll always know where you stand.
Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE don't need roaming at all. On hotel wifi, calls home are just your normal plan.
