Q: Can I use any modem for nbn®?

No. You’ll need an nbn®-compatible modem to connect to the nbn®. If you already have a modem, it may be compatible and not require an upgrade. Our team can help you check. If you’re signing up with Yomojo, you can bring your own modem or choose from our range of nbn®-compatible modems and routers.

Q: What happens to the nbn® box when I move?

You can take your modem or router with you, but do not remove the installed nbn® box. For HFC, FTTC, Fixed Wireless, and FTTP connections, the nbn® box stays with the property.

Q: Can I purchase new devices as an existing customer?

Yes. Select 'Add to nbn® plan', then click 'Visit My Yomojo' in the pop-up to complete your purchase via the customer portal. Note: You’ll need an active internet service with Yomojo to purchase hardware.

Choose the Right Modem for Your Connection

Choosing the right modem depends on your connection type and how you use the internet. If you’re on a VDSL2 (FTTN/B) connection or need VoIP support, the VX230V is nbn® -certified and arrives preconfigured for easy setup.

If you prefer to bring your own hardware, keep in mind that not all modems and routers are compatible with every connection type.
