Moving your mobile number to or from Yomojo is designed to be simple. The information below sets clear expectations about when transfers occur, how long they usually take, and the steps you may need to follow before, during, and after the switch so your service moves across smoothly.
The transfer of your number begins when you activate your service on your Dashboard or on your auto-activation date.
Most numbers are transferred within 15 minutes to an hour. However, a port request can take up to two business days to commence, particularly if additional validation is required. You can keep using your existing SIM until the moment the transfer actually completes. During the cutover, a brief loss of service may occur—often just a few minutes.
We will notify you via email and SMS as soon as your service becomes active on Yomojo. You will also notice that your old SIM will stop working.
If you are using a physical Yomojo SIM, insert it into your handset and restart the device to establish network connection. For eSIM orders, you will receive an email containing a QR code; scan it to download and install the eSIM profile that matches your newly ported number, then confirm mobile data and voice services are enabled in your device settings.
You will receive a text message asking to verify your port after you sign up. Respond to this text immediately. This does not start the transfer yet but only confirms that you are the owner of the number that you are porting.
Ensure your account details (name, date of birth, and account or service number) exactly match your current provider’s records.
Keep your old SIM in the phone until you lose service; then switch to your new SIM or activate your eSIM.
Leave your current service active—do not cancel it before the port completes.
Have your device unlocked if it was purchased from another carrier.
